Kara Model Milliner is a traditional working millinery shop that has been established for nearly sixty years. It is situated in the heart of the historic Cathedral Quarter of Derby.

The shop was opened in 1953 by Kathleen Stott (Kara) and was run by Kara and her staff until 2007, when Bev took over the running of the shop on Kara's retirement.

Under new ownership due to Bev's retirement in 2010, a new age dawns for Kara Model Milliner but the ethos of quality and customer care for which Kara is renowned will remain unchanged.
